ABOUT US
Originally named "East African Club", the East African Student Association was established in Wheaton High School by a group of students who wanted to participate in their school's international night. Some weeks passed and those students decided to band together to build a club helping others of the same, or similar heritage. After a school year of ups and downs, and a whole revision of the clubs's approach, the East African Club became the East African Student Association and set a clear standard of their establishment.
With goals to create unity, provide help to those around the world, and to provide resources of achievement to those involved, the East African Student Association has become a new face for students at Wheaton, and soon across the county. What started off as a small group of kids coming together to participate in an international night dance, hopes to grow to an inter-county, and hopefully interstate association where all students can use their culture to grow and achieve excellence together.
